Ingredients: 4-5 long purple brinjals slit in four vertically, 1 lemon's juice, 1 tbsp poppy seeds, 2 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder, salt to taste, oil to fry, jiravan powder/ salt n red chilli powder mix as sprinkler, oil to deep fry
Preparation time: 25min
Recipe:
1. Put the pieces in a platter and add red chilli powder, turmeric powder n salt over it. Add the lemon juice and mix all well. Add poppy seeda and toss the brinjal pieces thoroughly. Allow marination for 15-20 min.
2. Take a deep pan and heat oil for deep frying. Add 2-4 pieces of the marinated brinjals and deep fry till brinjals turn dark. Remove on an absorbent.
3. Add the sprinkler and serve it hot.
