Salad duo

Carrot/pomegranate Salad

Ingredients: 1.5 cup grated carrot, 3/4 cup pomegranate, 2 tsp freshly ground black pepper and salt to taste

Preparation Time: 2 min (serves 4)

Recipe:
1. Take a salad bowl and add grated carrot and pomegranate. Mix them. Now add the black pepper followed by salt. 

2. Toss the salad just before eating. refrigerate it for an hour and serve!

PS: This is just a variant of the variety salads covered in other recipes. But, the best thing I like about this combo is that it is a hit with everyone. For kids especially, they gobble up both the nutritive ingredients happily for they are served in variant form. Also, this accompanies any style of main course - #italian #indian #continental (of course you can bring in many twists and surprises by adding additional flavors with exquisite cuisine specific dressings)
