Pineapple tart

Ingredients: 100gm marie biscuits, 6-8 pineapple wafer biscuits, tinned pineapple 5 slices properly drained of excess syrup, 1/2 cup cheese spread or cream cheese, 1 cup powdered sugar (if whipped cream is sweet then reduce the quantity of sugar to 3/4 cup), 150g butter, 1 cup whipped cream, pineapple essence 2-3 drops

Preparation Time: 30 min (setting time - an hour)

Recipe:

1. Grind the the marie biscuits and 5 of the wafers to sugar sized particles. To this add a tbsp of butter and mix well again. 

2. In the dessert dish (that can be microwaved), spread this mix at the base and press it evenly and tightly. Microwave it for 2- 3 minutes so that the crust sets fine. Allow it to cool down.

3. In the meantime, blend the cheese spread, remaining butter, pineapple essence and sugar together to get a consistent and smooth texture and keep aside.

4. Also, whip the cream till you get the whipped form. 

5. Cut 4 slices of pineapple into chips form and turn them in the whipped cream.

6. On the cooled down crust, spread evenly the smooth textured cheese mix kept aside. 

7. Over this layer, spread the whipped cream with pineapples and garnish with the extra slice of pineapple.

8. Set it in the freezer covered with a lid for an hour and the tart is ready to be relished!
