Ingredients: 250gm pumpkin diced to 1cm size, 3/4 tbsp oil, 2 tsp mustard seeds, 1 tsp asafoetida, 2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 2 tsp coriander powder, 2 tsp dry mango powder, salt to taste
Preparation time: 15min
Recipe:
1. Take a pan and heat it. Add oil and heat for seasoning. Add mustard seeds and asafoetida.
2. Add the diced pumpkin and saute for a minute. Add all the spices and mix well. Sauté till it leaves oil.
3. Add 2 cups of water, mix well and cover with lid. Cook it for 5 min on medium gas. Check if the pumpkin is cooked. If not and water absorbed fully, then add little more water and cook for 3-4 minutes.
4. Serve it hot!
